27th December 2019

Our last full day down in Cornwall and we spent the morning beach combing for sea glass and blue ands white china. I love beach combing but gave all my bits to Mum and Hester as they will be far more creative with them than me. It is really surprising that a number of bits of Victorian glass haven’t worn at all which makes me think there is a Victorian dump being gradually exposed during sea erosion - would be great if I could find it one day somewhere along the coast here.

We were meant to head out in the afternoon as well but sheer laziness meant that it was only Hester and Brian (along with Harry and Teasel) who braved the weather as we snoozed on the sofa.

On their return we had dinner (plenty of wedges for everyone this evening!) and afterwards played Pictionary and Operation - Colin and I smashed it at Pictionary which was surprising considering how badly I can draw!
