12th May 2019

Today is the annual ‘Chestnut Parade’ in Bushy Park which happens on the second Sunday in May each year to celebrate the avenue of horse chestnut trees originally planted by Christopher Wren hundreds of years ago. This year it was beautifully sunny and the trees were in perfect flower. The parade went well although it was not quite as big as in previous years.

This is my friend Nic Moore who runs the Hanworth Classic Car club and always takes part each year. This year his Grandson also participated in a vintage pedal car!
