A trip into Kingston and despite no forecast at all of rain, there was a massive downpour. Colin was at the hairdresser and got caught in the deluged as he crossed the bridge!
I managed to finally pay a cheque into the bank and when Colin finally arrived we used our monthly vouchers for free tea and cake in John Lewis!
Afterwards we each got £100 of Croatian ‘kunas’ from the JL travel bureau. It’s nice to have a totally different currency to our usual euros to look at.
