Day 51 of lock down

In Colin’s quest to clear the garage, he has decided to try and get rid of a number of bikes in there. I had photographed them some time ago so all he had to do was to put the technical sec together. I posted the three adverts on Gumtree and wow - my email inbox went made and now I have someone coming this evening to look at the ladies bikes and tomorrow for the BMX.

I also undertook lock down haircut number two on Colin - I was more confident with he clippers this time but still with a degree paranoia about creating bald patches. I think it was a reasonable success although not near as good as Trevor - his usual barber. Why does cutting someone else hair make you itchy? We watched Simon Calder at 12.00 -this has become part of our lock down routine. He is as baffled as everyone with how the travel industry is being treated.

I didn’t go out today but this cloud looked very ominous over the back garden and I expected heavy rain but in the event nothing happened.

The remains of the fish pie for dinner this evening and it tastes even better. i am pretty pleased with this to my own recipe. No quiz tonight so we could have a break instead… needless to say my initial euphoria regarding the sale of a bike diminished as the woman never turned up but I have someone else lined up already for tomorrow.
