28th July 2020

Day 125 of semi lock down.

This morning ‘Steve’ arrived promptly and bought another set of golf clubs that Colin had in the loft - our holiday funds are increasing. It’s just a shame we cannot actually go on holiday at the moment due to quarantining and constant Government changes in where we can and cannot go!

In the afternoon I managed three card counts at Squires (still no reply but I have another contact name) and both Richmond and Twickenham branches of Waterstones. All three outlets have big gaps in their stock so I am going to have a busy few days making up cards. We had hope to pay a visit to our favourite cafe but sadly they are only ding take out and their cake range was pretty limited. We were forced to have a Danielli’s ice cream instead. Great ice cream but very steep at £6 for two and one of those was in a tub!

I also checked out Eel Pie island again and have seen that the Twickenham rowing club has direct access to the river and could be suitable place to photograph the church and riverbank for one of my clients - I need to get permission to access first though. This brilliant rainbow crossing is immediately in front of Waterstones in Twickenham.

Later in the afternoon I also posted details of the television we are trying to get rid of - I am not sure if it will sell but for only £50 it is a bargain for 33” good condition television.

Last bit of good news today, print number 21 has just sold having been bought by the Chairman of the Trustees of the Landmark Centre. I need to order more frames as he’d like it framed - just 4 to go now!

45,878 PHE total dead in the UK (up 119 today)
