9th October 2020

Day 198 of semi lock down.

I got up early today to drop Colin over to golf so that I could have the car to make a print delivery later in the day. I was delivering a framed print to a woman who managed the Mortlake Community Association. She is an interesting contact as after discussion over a socially distanced coffee in her home whilst playing with her lovely puppy Ella, I think I may have found the charity that I want to support with my Richmond montage! It is a small place that supports many different groups locally within the Borough. My Richmond print will work well and I can adapt my list of shots to include East Sheen and Mortlake so it is relevant - exciting times.

I was there for quite some time so by the time I came to leave Colin had already contacted me to be picked up from golf but then suggested that we have lunch there instead. We are still allowed to eat inside with others (under Covid 19 rules) and so I met with Brian and his son. It is Brian’s birthday today so it was nice to say it in person. I had a bacon sandwich and we shared a bowl of chips - Colin is concerned over the catering at the Club as his sausage sandwich was not good at all!

I also finally received a Purchase Order from Squires - I am sure it is a total coincidence that it arrived about 17 minutes after I sent my email to Head Office, after over 6 emails over the past month and no response! 85 more cards to make up.

In the afternoon I wrapped up two more framed prints ready to deliver and decided I should update my website to include the new Twickenham montage so it is clearer when people visit my website to order. It is so long since I have worked my my site that it took me some time to figure it out.
