Day 11 of lock down 2 (day 234 since the start of the 1st lock down)
Another frosty atmosphere today not down to me!
I had a long chat with my friend Deborah in the morning to discuss how the virtual Christmas social will work with showing images etc. I think we have a good plan which I wrote up to email to the others in the Committee.
I kept going in positive fashion and blind baked the pastry base for my lemon meringue pie I’ll be making tomorrow and made a lemon Victoria sponge birthday cake. I have sparkler numbers and candles to go on it. I don’t really feel in the celebratory mood though.
I crept back downstairs again late in the evening after Colin had gone to bed to put up balloons and bunting which kept falling down. Sydney hamster looked on.
