Day 22 of lock down 2 (day 253 since the start of the 1st lock down)

Our new freezer arrived early from John Lewis this morning. We had got up in good time to empty the old freezer and for me to crack off the thick ice and defrost it so it can be taken away. It was just as well that we had started early as they turned up an hour earlier than the earliest part of the time slot they were supposed to arrive in! Half an hour earlier a council inspector had knocked our door and asked us to remove the boxes we had placed out to reserve a parking space for the John Lewis lorry. He had received a complaint about spaces being reserved by boxes and although I am pretty certain it had not been directed at us, I took exception and drafted an excellent note for our Crescent WhatsApp Group and FaceBook page. There are obviously some small minded, petty people living in the Crescent who have nothing going on in their lives so complaining about boxes must have livened up their day! I took great delight in photographing the lorry blocking the road.

I cracked on today and finished the two calendar designs and personalised them for my family and one for Colin and myself with his family included as well. I am really pleased and even got £15 off using a special code sent specifically to me from Motif. Can’t wait to see how they will turn out and it is nice to have made something for Christmas as well.

It was my photo club Zoom evening tonight and also competition night. I had not submitted any images but I needed to say a few words at the end regarding the Christmas social next month. I managed to listen in but with my video off outside of the break and I have now recreated all my address labels simultaneously on this Mac which was a big job I was not looking forward to - all done now.
