21st April 2021

1 year, 27 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

This morning I carefully cleaned my finds from yesterdays mud-larking session - no treasure but I am really pleased with the pieces of blue and white china and narrow pipe stems - no bowls yet. After that I continued to catch up with paperwork and update my stock take of my cards.

It was World Curlew Day to raise awareness of the plight of curlews in the UK and both Mum and Hester created brilliant pieces of artwork which I helped in by proving them on Twitter and Facebook.

After an afternoon shop to stock up on supplies, in the evening we both listened to a fascinating lecture about the Longford River organised by the Friends of the River Crane (FORCE) via Zoom.
