Looking at the weather I decided to brave Kingston by bus first thing in the morning. The bus was not too busy and all but two people were wearing masks. Strangely the two that were not were both older people who should know better!
Within just two shops - John lewis and White Stuff - I managed to find a really nice dress and matching necklace with a little help from the assistant in White Stuff. I think it looks really nice, can be dressed up or down and will be good to travel with. My successful shopping continued with shampoo and odds and ends from Boots and underwear from JL.
In the afternoon I continued the great Christmas card exercise and made good inroads into the piles that need putting together. I have been trying to use the BA vouchers we acquired last year when our flights were cancelled but still no success in getting though to speak to someone. I finished making up a couple of USBs for clients and during this time it hammered down with rain which made me pleased I had tackled Kingston this morning. No leaks anywhere so far and apart from some adjustment of Colin’s bowl arrangements all is well in the garage as well.
