Colin and I had a date this lunch time at a restaurant called Bacco in Richmond. I won a £40 voucher when at the ETNA summer celebration last month. It was nice and we managed to sit outside in the gazebo bit. The downside was that despite having a voucher we sent another £40 and we even shared a dessert and only had too beers. It was nice but not great and certainly pretty pricey. Not sure we’ll be going back.
On our return on the bus, I headed straight back out to post Mum’s extra heavy parcel up to Hester’s in time for her birthday visit. It was 6.5kgs but not as expensive as I had expected and it was a relief to have got it in the pst and I am sure it will arrive in good time. I also was able to pay in my cheque form my photo club reimbursing the room hire fee I had paid to the golf club a few weeks ago which saved me a visit to the bank as sadly there are no useful banks left in Teddington anymore and our old Natwest still lies empty after over 4 years since it closed in 2017.
