20th April 2013

Today I officially photographed the opening of a new Mary Portas 'Living and Giving' shop that opened at 12pm here in Teddington.

I took this in the morning before it got busy - it is one of the oldest shops on the High Street in Teddington (note the crooked roof). I was hoping for a photograph of Mary Portas but unfortunately she was unable to attend today but I was lucky enough to get a preview of the shop interior before it opened to the public. It is one of only 9-such shops open so far and 100% of the profit goes to to the 'Save the Children' Charity. (Just noticed I accidentally cropped the very top of the chimney - whoops!)

Some more photos from the day on my FaceBook page if you're interested... https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.538294322889920.1073741843.186301661422523&type=1
