Baton Rouge National Cemetery

The American Civil War split a country and, in some cases, families. This military cemetery has many Civil War graves marked simply "Unknown." This section has row after row of them--which means families all over the country never knew for sure where their soldiers were buried. One hundred forty-eight years later, some people are still looking for an ancestor who died here....
