Ici repose Cecile de Brueys

Today I went on a Halloween tour of an old house, church and cemetery in Convent, Louisiana. The area, along the Mississippi River between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, has a strong French heritage. St. Michael the Archangel Church sponsors this tour to raise money for cemetery restoration.

I had planned to go back to the church after the tour and take many more photos, but I twisted my knee in the cemetery and hobbled back to my car. So I may be posting these photos for a couple of days.

I thought the orange stuff was a little creepy....
A very interesting image. Crisp shot with lots of texture.

That sounds like it must have been a very interesting tour. We have tours here at this time of year where they go to places that are supposedly haunted

The orange stuff is called "Great Stuff." I use it to seal holes. Hope your knee heals fast.
