Baton Rouge skyline from Port Allen on the west side of the Mississippi River. The building to the far left is the Louisiana state capital. The water level of the Mississippi has risen 20 feet in the last two months.
I really love the blues in this shot! This shot is what I think of when I think of the Misssissippi- a big wide river! Is 20 feet normal? Or is that something to worry about?
