I'm sorry that I've been sporadic with my commenting. We're getting ready to move from Louisiana to Florida to be near one of our sons and his family. It's been a busy, stressful, exciting, somewhat sad time as we look forward and look back....

Such beautiful street art. so colorful. I too will miss your wonderful pictures from Louisiana. I always feel some sort of connection as I have visited Louisiana and your pictures remind we of the wonderful time we had there. I can understand you wanting to be closer to your son and family.
It is always hard to leave a place that holds many memories. Harder still the graduations and other changes that happen over the normal course of life. But you have always seemed to me to be an explorer with your camera in hand. And now you will have a new world to conquer. My thoughts and prayers will be with you for a smooth move and easy transition to your new surroundings. Another adventure in your life is about to begin! Beautiful mural and great shot!

We have nothing but good reasons to move, but still it is hard to leave the people here. Ann, you are right--I'm looking forward to exploring a new area with my camera. And meeting new people and being near my youngest grandchildren!
Really awesome piece of art! And laughed when I noticed Stewie from family guy in there! Next time I'm home for a decent amount of time I'm going to have to spend some time in BR. I never get to go there anymore!
