House of Flowers

I love how the art beautifies this house, run-down but still occupied. The blue roof says it was probably damaged during a hurricane; FEMA issued blue tarps as temporary protection, but some of them are years old.

Very nice, I ran a voluteer rescue team in NSW many years ago when I left to come to Victoria some houses we covered were stiil unrepaired as they had no insurance cover for repairs.

The house looks real friendly with the flowers all around it. you can see it's still occupied when you see the three air condition units.

I wonder if the tarp was from Hurricane Gustav, I remember that one hit Baton Rouge my sophomore year and I remember a bunch of trees down on campus at LSU and damage in nearby areas.

Anyway, another lovely shot. I like the fence and the designs within them and those beautiful painted flowers!
