My granddaughter used to volunteer at the zoo. She has handled animals that we wouldn't care to touch, like snakes and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. But this skink appeared in her room and he was so fast that it took us quite a while to catch it. She is still talking about how creepy he was....
I agree- I get skittish around pretty much anything reptilian and most amphibians! This fellow would have sent me running to visit someone for the next three days until I was certain someone had removed him for good! Great shot though!
