If walls could talk. . . .

Providence United Methodist Church near Providence Canyon State Park. The congregation was organized in 1832-33 and worshiped in a log church; this sanctuary was constructed in 1859. Built in rural Georgia, just before the Civil War and apparently in use until fairly recently, imagine the stories it could tell!
I'm sure they would be full of joys, tears, love, laughter and faith. I like their "welcome" sign. Good shot.

Beautiful to see a church in a secluded place like this. Some stories would have been very exciting to hear, for sure.

Think of how many newlyweds came out of this church over the years.
