This beautifully maintained house was built in 1836 as the President's House of Jefferson College, founded by wealthy Louisiana planters for their sons.
(Daughters didn't get much formal education back then.) It's now called Ignatius House of Manresa retreat center on River Road in Convent, Louisiana.
