Standing watch

The female cardinal was eating at the bird feeder and the male seemed to be standing watch. Wonder if they have a nest nearby?

I love watching the birds in our yard, but I don't have a very long lens to photograph them.

I love this! I have a cardinal nest I’m sharing with my kindergarten students this week. It is one of my life goals to take a fantastic bird picture — I don’t think it will happen with my phone (haha!).
