We've had very little rain for 6 weeks. Everyone was grumbling, worried about their yards. It finally rained--several inches in about an hour, flooding the streets and yards, shutting down parts of the interstate. I don't think any houses got water inside, but it was stressful watching the water creep up to the bottom step of the porch!
