Port city

Shot last month on a hot Sunday morning, on an old pier overlooking the Mississippi River. The river has been above flood stage since January, controlled by the levees; we're nervous watching Tropical Storm Barry approach.
Great capture. Hope the water level has not become critical.

It must a little nerve-wracking with the water rising so high. I hope it stays at bay for you. I like the busy feeling of this harbor shot.

Water levels are high here too. Lake Ontario's level is high and Toronto's Island are under water. the Lake we live close to (four houses away from) is rising, but so far still ok. I hope and wish you have nothing to worry about, only time will tell.
Beautiful harbor shot. when I see harbor pictures I always get reminded of my childhood living close to the Hamburger Harbour Hamburg in Germany.

Oh yes! I've been thinking about you. It's frightening to see all that water and be helpless to do anything about it. Once upon a time I was caught in a flood in Louisiana and it scared the daylights out of me. Our house sat in the middle of the Bogue Falaya for a couple of days when it rose over its banks. Sure hope this storm passes quickly.

Great shot. I hadn't heard about this storm approaching. I will have to keep myself posted
