I've learned that there are cicadas and cicadas. Brood X, Brood XIX, Baton Rouge Brood. IDK what kind this is, but it startled my husband when it flew at him, making its buzzing noise. I would have screamed, but Marshall remained calm!

Yes, they are pretty intense when they make that buzzing sound. Good for you in catching him with your camera! The details on his eyes is amazing.
