There is a group trying to save this 1857 church, no longer an active parish. For years, they opened the church on Saturdays so the public could view the art. I procrastinated making the drive, and now the condition of the roof has made it unsafe to open it. As my Grandma used to say, "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today."
