I've posted pictures of this slave cabin before. It's more elegant than most, with its brick front. An entire family lived in this small space.
Sometimes shooting with a manual film camera is a remarkably relaxing procedure: the light meter on this camera is broken, so I decide on my exposure using the Sunny 16 Rule or checking the light meter app on my iPhone (I love the contrast of high and low tech.) Doing that makes me look at the scene more closely. I only shoot one or two exposures (each one costs money.) I have to slow down....
