A mural celebrating Old South Baton Rouge, a Black community whose businesses flourished during the days of segregation. Most of these, including the Lincoln Theater pictured, closed years ago. I'm not sure about other places, but in Baton Rouge much street art carries a social justice message. Other installations seek to beautify declining areas.
Is this in a place where the people who need to know will see it? As always I enjoy seeing this part of your project

@grammyn Thanks for your interest! This is on a side street but the building is unusual, so I hope people notice it.
