Taken of Chimney Rock and Courthouse Mountain on Cimarron Ridge in the Uncompahgre National Forest in the San Juan Mountains of SW Colorado. The playfulness of the clouds and fog dancing on the rocky surface had me stopping to photograph this scene. It doesn't matter how many times I travel up Owl Creek Pass...there always seems to be a different view, different weather, and unique fall color.
Stunning - that area of the San Juan's is absolutely gorgeous. You sure hit all the beautiful spots (though think you could go any direction in Colorado and find beauty in the fall) Love the way you composed this. Fav
