Taken before the snow fell on the San Juans, but I loved the incoming storm and the side light as the sun was coming up that morning. I'm always grateful for clouds and especially the dramatic ones that contrast with the colorful landscape. The storms came through later in the week and I'm still getting to those shots, lol. Life is like a storm with the blue sky days, days with a few clouds, and days filled with storm clouds and rain. I believe it's the attitude and spirit within all of us to take on the stormy days and just dance in the rain...to plunge in the mud with our boots and discover a path of joy!
Nicely done, Wendy. Many non-photographers can't understand why clouds are our friends, but this photo would be a good example of what good results one can get because of them.
