Shadow lives to bring the sheep home at night. I just need to tell him to move them up, and he is gone like a bolt of lightning, gathering them, and moving them home.
And, he figured all of this out on his own! Now, all I have to do is get him trained to open and close the gates and I wouldn't need to leave the house!
Sheepdogs are such clever dogs & never happier than working. We never had dogs as we were dairy & got the cows up with quad bikes but our son has sheep dogs & they are so clever.
