Early Melt

I wanted to rush out to take photos in the early morning fog today but chores kept me home. I was so pleased that there was still a hint of fog to give the background a dreamy effect this afternoon when I had to run to town.

The trees in fog in distance make a great background.

This would be beautiful without the distant trees in the fog. But the fog really adds a depth to the picture. Beautiful.

Lovely scene, so well composed. I like the atmosphere the fog lends to it, but it's the snow that really makes the shot.
