Hubby, knowing that Tim, Becca and the kids were coming for a visit, was nice enough to plow a trail out to the back so we did not need to plow through knee deep snow.
The day was beautifully warm, and the walk so relaxing with the kids playing along the way and dogs sniffing every exposed tree branch.
This was one of the only family photos with both children facing the camera. (I know I had them facing into the sun ... oh, well!

Thank you both for your lovely comments. Lisa, I know the snow makes it look cold but it was warm enough that the snow was melting - slowly melting! Can hardly wait 'til I can post flowers like every one else.
That looks like my childhood in Wyoming. I don't get snow here unless I drive up to the hills but back then we had snow in every month of the year. Your boys will cherish the memories I know
Yeah there's a bit of squinting going on. I've made that mistake before too. Still a lovely family photo though. The light does look warm despite the snow covering 👍😊

Yes - I am impressed with my new D7200. I just set the WB properly and it will deliver white snow every time! My old camera always gave me blue tones.
