I have always wanted to live in an old brick house with thick, insulating walls that would keep the house cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. There would be deep windows with lovely wood ledges to put houseplants on that would act as natural air purifiers, lots of inside walls to hang our limited edition prints and my needlework, and to top it off, comfy cushions in each of the dormer windows to enjoy the morning coffee.
Our house is not quite that big, but I can still dream!

Yes - we just had a huge dump of 30 cm on Wednesday (just when we were beginning to see grass) and we are expecting a bit more this week. Oh well, it is March and so the worst is over.

Winter in Canada (with the exception of the West Coast) is always a minimum of five months and longer in some parts of the country. The going joke in Saskatchewan is that winter is ten months long with two months of tough sledding (skidooing or tobaganning)
What a beautiful image of a beautiful house...I like the sounds of your dream house very much. I should like one like that too with acres of land all the way around it and a little river running through it somewhere.
Lovely shot of a lovely home. Thank you for the excellent Get Push challenge Wendy. I see you have been quite responsive and challenged on your past challenges - some impressive photos and kudos to you for the ability to capture so many quality SOOC shots. So here's my challenge to you. How about showing us a form of new life on the farm? I'm off to find a way to get some motion into my shots!

Thanks for stopping by and dreaming with me on this shot!
@stephanies @salza I do plan on catching this house in summer - will see if there is a little stream or pond to make it complete.
