This is the second get pushed low light shot using my new Sigma 17-80 mm F-2.8 EX DC OS lens that I got for Christmas.
My partner, Kali @kali66 explained that the letters OS stand for Optical Stabilizer and provided some ideas and tips on how to best utilize this feature.
Yesterday I used a tripod, long exposure time (2 sec) and relatively low ISO (400) , but increased the ISO (800) and went with a faster shutter speed (1/125) for today's HAND HELD shot to utilize the OS capabilities of the lens.
Wow! Love my new lens!
Here is my second attempt, Kali! @kali66
I just realized that I used the widest angle (17mm) on my lens for this shot and am not happy with the DoF. I am going to experiment again tomorrow morning (when it's dark again) with the same set up and use the 50mm end and see if it makes a difference. I think it will!
@kali66
I did set up the same photo and use the 50mm end of the lens and the DoF was basically the same when I compared the two shots side by side so I did not post another shot.

Thank you, Paul - I am enjoying my new lens and the possibilities with it.
