The snow in the corn field wasn't very deep so it was actually very pleasant walking this portion on the way to the abandoned homestead at the back of our farm.
Other parts though, like through the gravel pit and around the old farmyard, was over my knees!
But it was a pleasant day, warm with very little wind, and snow falling gently. Rather magical.
