I was blessed to catch this chickadee that stayed still just long enough for me to snap a photo. I have been trying to get a good shot of one for ages but they do not stay still very long, but are always quickly flitting from place to place.
I also finally gave up on auto focus that seemed to be perpetually focusing on tree branches and went fully manual to get this shot.
Rather pleased with myself!!
Well done on getting this shot. 'Chickadee' was my father's nickname for me when I was little (hence my user name). A very pretty little bird, we don't have them in this part of the world. How could I not give it a fave. :-)
