Disaster! My camera is sick and will need to go to the shop for a couple of days to get fixed!
It is a Nikon 7200 that has two SD card slots. One slot I assign to RAW format and the second to JPEG. Both slots are now giving me JPEG's even though I reset absolutely every function I could on my camera.
So - I am limited to what I can do in post processing with JPEG's until I can get it fixed and will have to use my old D80 while my newer camera is in the shop!
I know most of you will understand how upset I am when deprived of my addiction!
Awww. I do have to say that I loved my D80, it took wonderful photos. A couple of days without your awesome camera will be manageable at least with the D80.
That is really too bad about your camera. I hope it can be easily fixed. Mine desperately needs cleaning and we are planning on taking it in on Saturday. I don't have sophisticated enough a camera to work with RAW. It only gives me JPEG -- but from the little I have read, I can see your preference for having the RAW files. HANG IN THERE!
bummer about the camera. I use both slots on my D750 for RAW images, that way I have a backup of the most usable format. I import them to Lightroom and then when I export they are in .jpg format.
Hi Wendy, we're partners this week. Sorry your camera poorly, so here's a quick challenge when it returns to you. Could you do a photo of an eye? Human.,animal, storm or needle!
What a great idea. I think I will do the same!
Great challenge, Jackie!
Will sit down this evening and issue your challenge!
