It has been a very hot and humid summer with very little rain. That is until today when we had enough rain to almost fill the wheelbarrow.
This isn't a scientific measurement by any means - but this ruler is showing 7 inches of rain water in the wheel barrow.
it came down hard for over an hour- and I think we can safely say the drought is over.
Love the reflection. I know the feeling about not much rain as we had no rain for a couple of months - there was even a hose-pipe ban at one point. Thankfully we did get a couple of days of rain in July.
