It's fair season in Eastern Ontario with the obligatory midway rides and games. I went with my youngest daughter and her boys, taking pictures while they enjoyed the rides.
It's a great way to practice panning with the ride whipping around, up and down, and spinning. Add to the fact that there are other cars full of people that come between, and it is an awesome (and fun) way to sharpen your photographic skills.
This shot was taken with a slow shutter speed to blur all motion except daughter and grandsons. But even they are a bit blurred!
Here is the same ride taken with a fast shutter speed: https://365project.org/farmreporter/themes-and-cha/2018-08-18
Enjoy!
Thanks for the great challenge. I have always wanted to try this and have never gotten around to it.
Thank you so much for the push!
