I just loved the look on my oldest grandson's face here when my youngest grandson kept sliding over and squishing him against mom.
So much fun to watch!!
And a great way to practice panning with the ride whipping around, up and down, and spinning. Add to the fact that there are other cars full of people that come between, and it is an awesome (and fun) way to sharpen your photographic skills.
This shot was taken with a fast shutter speed to freeze all motion. Even the people in the ride behind them are crisp, and that ride is moving as well.
I switched to slow shutter speed for a different look shortly after this.

Another great shot. This ride was alaways called the Twist at our local fair. It was one that I didn’t mind - can’t bear things like the waltzers that go round & round!
