The current edition of the technique challenge is an interesting one and one I have never heard of before. It is obstructed view and the description is as follows:
This is basically when something is placed, intentionally or unintentionally, between your camera and the subject of your photo, which creates something special. It could be a window (dirty or wet), a curtain, a special filter, a strong shadow, a semi-open door, a person passing in front of you while you are taking a street or landscape photo. It could be also some elements (smoke, fog, umbrella, flying, birds, a hand, etc) hiding partially your subject or your scene.
I find that the tree hides what the boy is doing and makes you wonder. It is much more than natural framing that does not hide anything.
