My get pushed challenge from Rob Z @robz was to produce a controlled painterly ICM where you could see the original image incorporated into the final result.
I had a lot of fun with this one, Rob, experimenting with the different subjects to see what I can get as a result.
I had problems with this one since I had Hubby walking slowly - basically the same speed as I was panning so I did not get a great result.
Hubby said "Is it supposed to look like that?" when I showed him this! LOL!!
Kinda what I was after, but not exactly.
Live and learn - I should have had him moving faster so he would have been just a bit more out of focus than the background.
Here is another attempt at painting with a camera, Rob Z @robz!
Thank you for the challenge - it was fun!
This one is not the best and I know what I would do to change it next time. I think there just may be a next time as well because I rather like the painterly effect.
That's such a clever idea - panning with an intentionally different speed to the subject - it opens up so many good possibilities. I really like the different effects produced on different parts of the image. This is a great result. :)
