Alexandria Train Station by farmreporter

Alexandria Train Station

I am very excited about my new get-pushed challenge, which is to take photos of architecture - something I have been neglecting.
The Alexandria train station is the first one to be profiled.
The Canada Atlantic Railway linking Maxville and Alexandria with Montreal opened in 1882. Via passenger service to Maxville was cancelled in October, 2001 effectively closing the Maxville station but Alexandria remains a stop.
This station was built in 1917.
