Ever do a photo shoot where you can't decide what you want to post, so you post the same subject the next day?
Well - that is why I am posting another shot of St. Raphael's!
I posted a panorama of St. Raphael's in my Theme's and Challenges album yesterday, and would like your opinion on which photo you prefer.
(Or whether I totally goofed on yesterday's panorama)
I have thick skin, I can take it!
I like the panorama best, but I feel like this one gives good context to the area, if that makes sense. At first I thought the panorama was of a church's courtyard while this one helps illustrate that its actually ruins.
Yes. It can be a tough decision some days. Other days I'm just happy to get one image worth posting 😌 I like this image. The bell didn't look so big today 😌
another nice shot.i would prefer a bit more from the right side or totally exclude it.kinda lacks symmetry but i guess you did so to have a closer view of the bell.both shots are good
I like the pano more because it gives you more of a sense of the interior space. This shot is looking the other way to the pano? and I like this too because it puts the size of the bell into perspective and gives you another view. I might have been tempted to put the bell just slightly off more to the side and lowered myself down a little to lift the bell up a little, just to see how it looked liked that, [rule of thirds]. They are both really good images Wendy that give the viewer a great picture of what the church looks like now.
@stephanies Thank you, Stephanie and yes, this shot is from the different direction.
So true about me getting lower - will remember that for all my shots!
This one is my personal favorite even tho both are really good shots with nice focus. But this one wins for me because of the intimacy I feel in it. I'm also drawn to all the rounded shapes as well as the rich colors.
