Waiting for Mail

This week from the 5th to the 11th, we are to pay attention to lines, shape or space and how those elements balance out a picture, draw emphasis to the subject or their proportion within the picture in order to get a sense or a feeling of our subject in a new and creative way.
We are asked to choose one of those elements and watch how they work with our subject and what kinds of feelings they bring out. I chose lines.

Plus, I get a nice feeling of anticipation looking at this. You know, the kind that comes with getting the mail, or waiting for someone to drive up and come visit.
