I like the way these trees looked in this photo! I like the way they fade away in the background! Not the winter picture that I would normally shoot this time of year!
Before reading your commentary for the picture, my first thought was that I really liked the way the trees were lined up, with the distant ones fanned out as a backdrop. The detail in this front tree's bark is super as is the colors and textures. Nicely spotted.

Faye, the tree in the foreground is amazing. I love the clarity of the bark and the rich textures. You can also pick out the moss on the damp side which would probably be north. I also love the way they move back in a line before spreading out. Last, but not least I love the way the colour softens in the background. Fav
