@pyrrhula @suzanne234 @777margo @dawnee @gijsje Thanks so much for commenting. I always feel sad when I see the crops being harvested as it seems autumn is nearly here and then winter - brrr!

Love these haystacks in B&W!

Nice detail at the front and then nice perspective at the back. Makes my eye keep swapping back and forth.

I really like your pov and your choice of b&w. Fav.

Wonderful rural scene. I like your PoV and this as a b&w image. Great shot.

Nice b&w. You have a lot of contrast and I like how you used the sky to balance out the bales in the foreground.

I am your get-pushed partner this week. I quickly looked over several months of photos. Sorry for lack of commenting, something is causing my internet to be oh so slow tonight. You are a wonderful photographer. Not seeing a selfie lately. would you mind trying that this week?

@randystreat Thanks very much Kathy:)

@randystreat Hi Kathy, I'll try ... You are very experienced at all of this and very good. Is there a tutorial on Photoshop on the internet that you haven't tried but would like to? Love your use of textures. Only a suggestion but maybe some of your favourite pictures made into a globe? The choice is yours, please let me know if if this isn't suitable.

Like it! Interesting composition and pov.

Dead jealous.. only half kidding.. i love everything about this image. the PoV and textures are superb.. the shadowed areas make fab leading lines as does the power/telegraph cable (seemingly) tying one stack of bales to another.. another great composition, you have such a good eye..

Great DOF and POV (love those acronyms!) Good in mono, too. Fav.

@jorlam You are so kind, thank you. There is a lot of luck involved (and a lot of shots). Every now and then something clicks in my head which means I'm happy with it but it doesn't happen very often at all!

@redandwhite @ivan Thanks very much indeed:)
August 7th, 2017
@fbailey But it happens often enough for you to post some exceptional images..
Remember, Ansel Adams is reported to have said that to produce 12 good images in one year was a very good year.. Nobody gets everything correct first time.. we all have to work a scene.. We all have fewer keepers than deletes.. When we first pick up a camera the ratio is very much against us (near all deletes and very few keepers) but it starts to slide to our advantage as we mature as a photog. Faith...

Great shot, the use of black and white really adds to the overall impact of the image.

Reminds me of a scene from the film "The Way".

@fbailey I've been viewing @featherstone26 's globes and would like to try that. Thanks for the "push". I think I'll have lots of time this week to work on one.

@randystreat So pleased you're happy with it, they're great fun but time consuming. Northy did one a while back called Ball of Wishes - it was gorgeous.
