All that water in the sky and none for the boats. Nice capture 🙂

Great shot; I always like these moments when really dark clouds cover the scene, but the subject is lit from another patch of lighter sky - it really increases the dramatic effect.

Where's the water?? I've never seen a harbour full of boats on the ground at low tide. Very intense clouds.

@tonygig Thanks very much Tony. You must have stayed at The Grand Burstin which is just out of sight to the left of the pic

@kwind Thank you! Every low tide the water drains away and the boats just sit on the sand waiting for it to return

@gijsje @brennieb @johnsutton @peadar @suzanne234 @joansmor @hermann @robinm @maggiemae Thanks so much for commenting. I didn't think we're get back to the car before the skies opened but luckily they held off till we were indoors. Then it hailed very vigorously!

@robz @lynnz @golftragic @randystreat @littleconnie @carole_sandford Thanks for stopping by, I took this one because the black sky was so threatening I couldn't see how we were going to escape it. Luckily we did and then the skies tipped hail down as well as torrential rain.

Looks rather threatening. I think this would work well in black and white as well

Lee
A few years back we stayed in Folkestone. I walked to Dover along the coast and it took me longer than anticipated due to discovering the battle of Britain memorial along the way.

@gamelee Thanks for connenting Lee. I feel embarrassed - I have yet to visit that site! You have given me a photo opportunity for next week! PS. You must have some stamina for that walk!
