My Get Pushed partner this week was Kathy @randystreat who challenged me to take on a Gavin Hoey tutorial I hadn't yet tried.
The tutorial I followed was entitled 'The perfect kaleidoscope effect - Photoshop Week 33'. The process involved squaring off a picture, dividing into two triangles and quite a lot of flipping and rotating of said triangles.
@randystreat Hi Kathy, this time a proper Gavin Hoey! Thank you for this challenge, I enjoyed it. Fiddly but fun. The major problem I had was my elderly computer has so much rubbish stored on it that it didn't have enough memory to even flatten the image, so I had to spend a while deleting all sorts of things:) Hope it's acceptable to you. Felicity
Oh this is beautiful. It reminds me of a vintage note card one might see with a note inside written in a spidery script with ink faded to brown. I love it! Thank you for taking this challenge.
Good morning, Felicity.
I have gone quickly perused your project, though I am already familiar with your work since I follow you. I love the versatility of your project!
I did not see a still life per say so your challenge is to make a still life composition with at least five different objects that you have chosen and arranged yourself. Any objects are fair game, though I would prefer that you not do flowers or fruit / food ... everyone does flowers or fruit! Extra points if one or more of the objects are ones that you would not ordinarily think of combining with the others.
@farmreporter Hi Wendy, thanks for the challenge, my grey cells are now doing overtjme:) Joan @joansmor had a really good challenge (Final Days 06.10.17) which I thought might be suitable for you too. It's a selfie collage but without people. The choice could be A Day in My Life or Highlights of My Week. Hope this is ok but if you'd like something else, pse let me know. Felicity
