I bought an African Violet a few days ago.
Before I can kill it, I thought I'd preserve it with a photograph. This was taken faffing around reversing the camera lens to get a macro result. Huge fun:)
@rjb71 Easy peasy, just take it off, turn it around, and hold it the wrong way round to the camera body. Holding it steady takes a bit of getting used to, but it can give some surprising results. Do give it a go:)
That’s wonderful. Would never have thought of swapping the lens around to get a macro shot. I have macro filters, and I’ve also now bought a specific macro lens
Is it a house plant? I can grow stuff in the garden well but any plant entering my home is on death row!! I don't know why. My mother has green fingers for anything. She only has to drop by and do things to it and it thrives, but when she's gone it flops again! Sumptuous colour.
@casablanca Sadly it is a houseplant - it would stand a chance in the garden! My mum was the same as yours with plants. She took many a dying pot plant home from mine and it soon recovered.
